The Haçienda Has Been Rebuilt! is a 1:50 scale, hand built, 3D reproduction model Manchester legendary night club.

The model faithfully replicates Ben Kelly’s original design and incorporates many of the building’s iconic interior and exterior features used and developed during the 15 years the club was open.

The model, made with full permission and backing of fac51-thehacienda.com was initially used in 2012 as a focal point at events across the city to mark The Haçienda’s XXX 30th birthday party celebrations of the club which opened on the 21st May 1982.

The model encourages everyone who visited and worked at the club to visually map out and recollect areas of the building they used to frequent and remember the times they spent there. For those who’s missed out, the model can be used as a reference point to celebrate this unique and iconic building’s design and layout.

In September 2014 the model began it’s 9 month residency at the re-opened Manchester Central Library following the Libraries extensive refurbishment and In September 2018 the model featured in BBC4’s 3 part, TV documentary about the history of house music called ‘Can You Feel It – How Dance Music Conquered The World’. Footage of the model appeared in episode 2 ‘The Club’ which focused on the pivotal role the Haçienda played in the emergence of this global music phenomena.

The model encourages everyone who visited and worked at the club to visually map out and recollect areas of the building they used to frequent and remember the times they spent there. For those who’s missed out, the model can be used as a reference point to celebrate this unique and iconic building’s design and layout.
